It is More Blessed to Give than to Receive

Today is May Day and at playgroup today the girls made May baskets with painted yogurt cups and fake flowers. One of my friends, (a potter) also made bud vases for us to keep. I sent my daughters over to the neighbor’s house to deliver a May basket, then when they were done they thought it was so much fun, they picked clover flowers and went to visit another neighbor without asking me about crossing the street. How can I get mad at them for that? I like seeing them learning how to give without asking for anything in return. May Day is going to be a holiday that we keep celebrating in the future.
